Lake County partners with Lake County Economic Development Alliance (LCEDA) to support economic and community growth efforts and connect local businesses and communities with resources and development opportunities. The LCEDA is a local volunteer-led, non-profit organization.  It is not a county commission or committee and does not hold public meetings.

Lake County businesses, entrepreneurs and community leaders seeking no-cost guidance, support and resources for their development efforts are encouraged to contact:

Mission & Vision Statement

The Lake County Economic Development Alliance shall create a unified vision promoting the unique Lake County resources including historical, natural and cultural amenities that enhance the capacity of the local economy.

Since 2018, Lake County Economic Alliance has contracted with The Right Place to provide economic development services.  Included in these services is a part – time Executive Director assigned to provide business retention, expansion, and attraction support to area employers through partnerships with local, state and federal resources, as well as access to other Right Place staff and resources including data/research, marketing, advocacy, and subject matter experts.
